3rd Virtual Radiology Congress from the CIR

October 2009

For the third time since being created in 2006, the Department of Electronic Education of the CIR will be presenting during October the Virtual Congress of the Interamerican College of Radiology.

This is one of the best educational options that our College offers to Spanish-speaking radiologists from member countries. Its success can be measured by its audience, which in previous years has exceeded the 2,000 registered users.

We would like to recommend to the whole radiological community that you register as soon as possible so as to be able to enjoy the high level conferences that form this event. We also suggest participating in the large number of interesting discussion forums.

SMRI Auditorium Nomination

Last July, the Mexican Society of Radiology and Imaging celebrated a Solemn Session during which its auditorium was named after Dr. Miguel Stoopen Rometti. The allusive plate was revealed by Doctors Luis Felipe Alva, President of the Society, and Guillermo Santín García, Dean of former presidents.
